My name is Brittany! I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker based in the beautiful state of Washington! I'm so proud to call Tacoma my home and am really excited to be serving this amazing community. I've always been extremely passionate about helping others, listening to their stories, and helping people reach their full potential. I believe in the strength and courage of individuals to not only overcome challenges, but to thrive. The curriculum offered foundational knowledge in history, essential skills, and core values necessary for starting a career in social work. Topics covered included applied research, social policy, and various social work practice models and methods. Additionally, I participated in a 400-hour practicum, gaining practical experience in community-based social work settings. My internship was at Crystal Judson Family Justice Center, as a victim advocate intern.
